My day off. I'm continuing to feel pretty good and intend to stick to the plan of returning to my old (pre-hurtin') workout.
Tuesday, October 7 through Thursday, October 9, 2008
10-mile stationary bike rides are all in the 27-minute range. Consistency is good.

Another day off. Rest is my friend.

A dog walk and then a mile run with a time of 9:26. Led Zepplin's Houses of the Holy helped. The legs feel good. I was consciously reminding myself to slow down through the first lap. I was also consciously reminding myself to speed up as I rounded the last curve :-).

I again took the dog for a walk and then went for a mile run. This time I ran it in 9:41. My legs were a bit sore in the quads but I felt pretty good during the run. I reminded myself throughout to maintain a pace (again to Led Zepplin).
Mental Skills Used for the Week: A lot of associative thinking as demonstrated by my frequent reminders to pace myself. Otherwise, I'm sticking with the same skills I've been using throughout.
Until next week...
